I remember the day the Washington Star published it's final edition. Yes, I am old enough to remember when DC was a two-daily paper town.Soon, it will have none given what is happening at WaPo.
First thing when these maggots are removed, is to restore the Fourth Estate - ban all corporate ownership of "news" - oh yeah, and end the 24 hour news cycle. THAT is what has killed local and real journalism. Outraged doesn't begin to cover it...
